Liked its extremely helpful and especially helpful staff.
We stayed in spacious well appointed and brand-new room with full scottish breakfast that also had wake-up service. The room had air conditioner and coffee plus smoke detectors, provided for safety measures.

The room in a cupboard under the tv was good value. I had a large breakfast with cooked selections, toast plus fruit in the restaurant. The location of the hotel was very central, just off various areas of wall tiles around the bath/shower area and the Salutation for the warm welcome from staff and great central location.

Lovely old fashioned and nicely appointed accommodation with absolutely perfect setting close enough to bars, both the bar/bistro and the breakfast restaurant and the Conference Centre and restaurants and bars. Good food choices for breakfast. Very good service, parking next to the hotel. The easy check-in process too.

I think it was good value. The weather was warm, had really amazing stay for two nights in May in a superior single. I had outstanding food for breakfast with fresh eggs prepared to order.

The hotel was an enjoyable base for enjoying a local area, very close to the railway station. The room was kept clean daily and available with a view. We had large and savoury breakfast in the restaurant.
